Peter Dwyer is a highly experienced Human Resources and Employee Relations consultant with 30 years of strategic and operational leadership experience.

This background, along with his strong understanding of the needs of businesses in a range of sectors, has equipped him to provide professional, confidential and best-practice HR & ER consulting support to large, medium and small businesses, and individuals. Rather than migrating costly, non-value-added HR systems, policies and procedures into organisations, Peter brings to businesses commercially-sensitive, outcome-focused and individually tailored HR and ER strategies. He works closely with leadership to ensure change is managed with a minimum of fuss; compliance standards are met, and; risks associated with employment law are managed in a skilful and even-handed manner.
Peter's background in complex and multi-site unionised manufacturing operations has been punctuated by major change management including restructuring and plant closures - always achieved on time and without disruption. He has a track record in delivering controversial and confidential assignments both sensitively and professionally, and is comfortable handling assignments of any size - from one person right through to multinational workforces numbering in the thousands.
Prior to his consulting career, Peter held a range of senior executive HR positions with global packaging manufacturer AMCOR before being appointed to the Minimum Wage Panel at the Fair Work Commission. Peter is a former Director of Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA), and is a Board member for a large co-ed college with exciting plans for expansion.
